I've made this card for the challenge at That Craft Place, the theme is "Things With Wings". My second favourite creature with wings is the Unipeg, which is a cross between Pegasus and a unicorn. This beautiful image is from Where the Unicorns Roam CD by Jem's Designs.
I covered an 8"x8" card blank with purple card and matted a layer of silver mirri. I digitally added a blue square to the center of the matching backing paper and layered it onto the card. I matted a strip of backing paper onto silver mirri and mounted that across the card.
Using white card, I cut out the frame with an X-Cut die and coloured with Spun Sugar Distress Ink, then matted the Unipeg image with foam pads. I cut a border with an X-Cut punch and attached it behind the sentiment with foam pads.
The flowers were made with a Crealies die and coloured with Promarkers, then spritzed and scrunched. A Cheery Lynn leaf flourish and some silver Candi were the finishing touches.
Oh wow! fabulous image, fabulous colours and fan dabby dozy flowers and swirls - what makes you think I love it lol x
