Maybe it's because it's Spring but a few of my friends have been celebrating the birth of a new grandchild recently. This is just one of the cards I have made to send my congratulations.
As my regulars will know, I was lucky enough to win some digi prizes from the lovely and talented Holley during her Candy giveaway in February to celebrate her being five years seizure free. One of the prizes was to choose three digis from Atelier Oz.
I used a patchwork paper matted onto card coloured with a pink Pan Pastel. I added lace and a pink organza ribbon before fixing to an 8"x 8" card blank. I created the sentiment on the computer and cut and shaped it to look like a banner.
I just fell in love with the gorgeous Raggedy Bear images and chose So Handsome, My Blanket and Me and Nap Time. You get a coloured version and a PNG so I was able to merge and resize the three images into a scene. I coloured them with a mix of Promarkers and Copics and created a frame with a Whimsy die from card coloured with the pink Pan Pastel.
I used the organza ribbon to make a triple bow and added a small flower. I finished the card with some faux pearls around the frame. Thank you Holley, I had great fun with this prize.
Please visit the Atelier Oz shop to see the fabulous images from Olivia. There is something for everyone, not just these adorable Raggedy bears. There is a sale on at the moment so don't miss out.
I've entered this card in the following challenges:
