This month we are onto Challenge #7. Come and have a look at the fabulous DT makes for inspiration and to upload your entries. The theme is "Silhouette" and is sponsored by Crafty Individuals, who are giving away a fabulous crafty stash. Your entry doesn't have to be a card, it can be a scrapbook page or a 3D project.
Now onto my DT card. All the artwork I've used for this is from the MCS Simply Silhouette CD.
The dancing couple and the hearts have been printed onto acetate which I cut wider than the card to give a bowed front. I used a sheet of A4 hammered card to create the base card. I added the sentiment before printing the background with the chandelier and bird cage straight onto the card and scoring.
I wrapped a white ribbon around the side of the acetate and tied it in a bow. I then tied on some lace and thin black ribbon to hang on the side as I didn't want to attach anything to the acetate front.
