The Griffin Caller

This is a birthday card I made using a Jem's Designs CD called Underworld. Despite it's dark name, there are some stunning and beautiful images on the CD. This one is called The Griffin Caller.

I chose the box lid image from the CD for the main topper of this card and the A5 topper as the secondary. I started with an 8"x8" card blank and covered the front with silver mirri card. I then layered the matching backing paper.
I shrank both toppers and added the Happy Birthday sentiment to the box lid in MCS.  I matted both toppers on silver mirri and positioned on the card.

I used a Cheery Lynn leaf flourish die and coloured some flowers with a black and a metallic silver Promarker. Finally, I added some Card Candi to the flowers and the corner of the card.
