This is a card I made yesterday for my neice's birthday. I love the whole Steampunk genre.
I created the topper with one of the dress stamps from the Jasper stamp set by Kanban and coloured it using Promarkers in colours similar to the original toppers from Kanban's Steampunk card kit. I then matted it onto brown card. I cut the scallops on both pieces of card freehand. I designed one backing paper using the MCS "Tinkering with Steampunk" cd and the other with a mix of Distress Inks and Kanban Vivienne cogs and clock stamps.
The gold mirri cogs were die cut from Spellbinders Donna Salazar dies. The embellishment was made using a stamped and aged ribbon, button and a charm from my stash. A Kanban sentiment and Card Candi to finish off. I hope my neice likes her card.
Your coloring on this card is fab xx
