Crafts Galore Encore June 2024

Already half way through the year! I'm not sure where the time goes when I'm not looking. This past week we've enjoyed a mini-break away as it's been half-term at school..  Now we will have to get everything ready for our little princess to move up to secondary school in September as she comes to the end of primary school..

Meanwhile .....

.... there is a new challenge starting today at

Thank you to everyone who joined in with last month's challenge. The winners have been announced on the challenge blog. This is a month long challenge and you can enter up to three times. There is a full list of rules on the challenge blog.

Our theme every month is the popular
"Anything Goes"
and our sponsor this month is:

I have made an 8"x 8" (20 x 20cm) card using one of the free images and a free paper from our sponsor's blog. All the matting layers are white card coloured with Copic pen RV06.

I printed one of the free papers to cover the card base. I actually printed it twice, once with more opacity and then a thin strip slightly darker. I separated the two papers with a punched scalloped border to create the illusion of different layers. I inked around the edges with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink.

I used the gorgeous Pink Lily pre-coloured image and printed it four times so I could cut out the layers and decoupage the flower. I used a die to cut the image in a circle and layered it onto  a die-cut scalloped circle.

I mounted the decoupaged layers of the petals using foam pads.

I created the sentiment on the computer and die cut the circle and scalloped circle base.  I added pink ribbon to the card with double sided tape and covered the join with the sentiment. I added some pink gems and a pink bow to finish the card.

Now please visit the  Crafts Galore Encore challenge blog where you can see the wonderful projects and cards created by our talented team using Beccy's Place images.

  2. Absolutely beautiful, Andree! You've done a brilliant job fussy cutting all those flowers, I love the dimension you've created. It was a great idea to print the paper in two saturations... that's a great tip!
    Cheers,
