Kraftyhands June Challenge

The first Saturday of the month is here again and that means a brand new challenge on the  Kraftyhands Challenge BlogThank you to everyone who entered our challenge last month, it was another great turnout. The lucky winner and Top Three have been announced on the Kraftyhands Challenge Blog.
This month the theme is:
"No Squares Allowed"
If you use a Kraftyhands product on your entry you could win a £20 voucher to spend in the Kraftyhands webshop so pop over there to see what fabulous goodies you can pick up.

A couple of months ago I saw a fabulous card on Michelle's Lady of Leisure blog. It was a "Star Card". Michelle provided the link to the blog where she found the tutorial. The above photo is how the card looks when folded.

I used a 12"x 12" piece of white card and two papers printed from the Edwardian Rose Garden CD from Kraftyhands. I created the card as per the tutorial and cut the papers to fit all the sides. I used a small rose topper for the inside centre.

For the front, I printed one of the larger rose toppers three times and sprayed with Spray and Shine before decoupaging the image. I mounted it on a doily and added the sentiment. I finished the card with bows and some pearls.

We hope you can join in with this challenge and look forward to seeing your "No Squares Allowed" creations. A full list of the challenge rules can be found on the Kraftyhands Challenge blog. There is a £20 voucher to spend on the Kraftyhands website for the lucky winner if they have used a Kraftyhands product, and blinkies for the top three entries.  Please pop over to the blog to see the wonderful "non-square" creations the other DT members have created for your inspiration.
