Summertime at last on this side of the world and we have finally had some lovely weather (mixed in with the rain). I'm sorry if I haven't been visiting your blogs regularly but family health problems and new interests are the reasons. I hope you'll all forgive me.
But, the first of the month means it's time for a new challenge on the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog. Thank you to everyone who joined in with the May challenge. The winners are on the challenge blog 'winner's page'. This is a month long challenge and you can enter up to three times. A full list of rules are on the challenge blog.
Our theme this month is everyone's favourite:
"Anything Goes"
and we are sponsored this month by the fabulous KennyK Stamps
who are offering a prize of three digis of the winner's choice.
I made an 8"x 6" (20 x 15 cm) tent fold card and matted and layered with cream card, brown textured card and a paper from Prima. I scruffed the edges and coloured the paper with Tea Dye DI then I used stamps from Papermania, Kanban and Clarity to add details for a travel theme. The postcard is a stamp from Papermania and the text is from LaBlanche.
I chose the gorgeous Biker Girl digi image from KennyK Stamps and coloured her with Copics in shades to match the paper. She, and her bike, are mounted on foam pads.
The Eiffel Tower was cut twice with a die from Sizzix, once in brown and again in black. Then I mounted them to create a 3D effect. I added some cross hatching with gold embossing powder.
The tickets were cut out using a Kanban stamp and then stamped with Kaiserkraft text stamps.
Now please visit the Crafts Galore Encore challenge blog to see the fabulous Anything Goes projects my talented team mates have created for your inspiration. We look forward to seeing your entries for this month's challenge.
