Scribble & Scrap Challenge #9

I'd like to wish all my lovely followers a very Happy New Year. I hope it's a wonderful one for you all.

Welcome to the first challenge of 2014 at Scribble & Scrap and thank you to all who joined in with challenge #8. The fabulous winners have been announced on the Scribble & Scrap Blog. We hope you will all be playing along with this new challenge. Don't forget to sign up as a follower to be eligible to win.
The theme for the Scribble & Scrap challenges is always "Anything Goes" The winner will be chosen by Random.org and win a generous £15 voucher to spend in the Scribble & Scrap shopBut, if the lucky winner has used a Scribble & Scrap digi they will win a £20 voucher. The Top Three will be selected by a DT vote and will earn a £5 voucher to spend in the shop. If you'd like to be considered for a Guest Design Team slot, then add GDT after your name on your entry. A full set of all the rules can be found on the Challenge blog.

Lexie, the Boss-lady at Scribble & Scrap, has been working on some new characters with a friend of hers. They are called 'The Puglies'. I have chosen the character called Charles to make a birthday card for my husband. He is a big Chelsea fan, and for those who don't know, their team colours are blue and white.

I used three papers from Polkadoodles CD Pretty Tough and some blue pearlescent card for the mats. I typed out the sentiments on the computer and, after matting, fixed them in place with foam pads.

I printed Charles onto Super Smooth card and coloured him with a few Promarkers, using Chelsea colours of course.
As we are mid way through a house move and most of  my crafty stash has been packed away, the embellishments were kept to a bare minimum of six half-pearls.

Please pop over to the Scribble & Scrap Blog and Challenge to see what the other fabulously talented DT members have created for your inspiration. Also visit the Scribble & Scrap shop to see the many lovely images for sale. There are new ones being added all the time, including a new collection of characters. Once you've made your choice, you could be playing with your purchases within minutes as everything is on instant download. Please also ask to join the Scribble & Scrap Facebook group to make sure you don't miss out on any of the fun.
Happy New Year everyone.

  1. Fabulous card, Andree. Bet hubby absolutely loved it. The papers and layout remove the need for many embellies anyway, so looks fab.

Thank you for creating such a gorgeous card for the challenge.
