Welcome to my first challenge post of 2020 for
Creative Artiste is a challenge blog for everyone who likes to mix their media. So, as long as you like to use various mediums on your creations, we'd love to see you enter the challenge.
A big Thank You to everyone who entered the challenge last December. Your projects were all fabulous and our winners have been announced on the blog.
Our theme is always
"Anything Mixed Media Goes"
I started by gessoing the 8"x 8" (20 x 20 cm) canvas and adding a layer of DecoArt Crackle Paste over random areas.
When that was dry, I used DecoArt Prussian Blue Hue Fluid Acrylic and lots of water to colour the background.
I stamped the clock with Tracy Evans stamp #143 by Aall & Create in black Versafine. I overstamped it in Versamark and heat embossed in gold, removing some of the powder first to give a distressed look.
Now it's your turn to have fun and create your mixed media projects. You can enter our challenge up to three times. A full list of the rules is on the challenge blog. For more inspiration please visit the Creative Artiste Challenge Blog to see the wonderful mixed media projects created by our talented team and meet our newest DT member.
Remember to have fun crafting and enter your "Anything Mixed Media Goes" creations in our February challenge.

"Anything Mixed Media Goes"
I've been having fun making a canvas in one of my favourite colour combos.
I built up the composition using a die-cut and some lace scraps. I then added Prima Artstones around the canvas. Those were coloured with Prussian Blue Fluid Acrylic.
I sprinkled some gold Frantage over the Artstones and canvas and added a few glass pebbles to finish.
