I'm afraid I'm still struggling with things at the moment and haven't been able to visit all your blogs for a while. Hopefully that will change now and I'll get back into crafting and joining in again. This is another simple card. I made it for a male friend's birthday.

I matted and layered an A5 card with Papermania brown textured card and a paper from the Owl Card Kit 1 and created the horizontal strip with a paper from the digi paper set Pink & Brown and the brown card.

The cute image is from an LOTV Art Pad. I used Vintage Boys Set 1. I finished the card with some buttons and sentiments generated on the computer.

It would be lovely if you could now please visit the Scribble & Scrap Blog and Challenge to see what the other fabulously talented DT members have created for your inspiration. Also visit the Scribble & Scrap shop to see the many lovely papers and images for sale. Don't forget to ask to join the Scribble & Scrap Facebook group to make sure you don't miss out on any of the news.

Scribble & Scrap Challenge #16

Good morning and welcome to Challenge #16 at Scribble & Scrap. Thank you to all who joined in with challenge #15, the winners have been announced on the blog.

Or a £20 voucher if they've used a Scribble & Scrap digi. The Top Three will will earn a £5 voucher to spend in the shop. Our family has had a difficult week and I haven't found much time for crafting, so I've kept my card quite simple.

I used two contrasting colours of the same paper from the Grungy Florals - Naturals. I matted the blue paper onto dark blue pearlescent card to create a panel. I used a Cheery Lynn die for the leaf swirls.

The flowers were die cut with Heartfelt Creations Magnificent Blooms. I inked the edges with Distress Ink in Tea Dye and the blue pearls were from my stash.

The butterfly was made with two Memory Box dies and layered. I used Tea Dye to colour the bottom layer and pearlescent card for the detail layer.

Kraftyhands April 2014 Challenge

Welcome to the April challenge at Kraftyhands. Thank you to all of you who joined in with the March challenge, the entries were fabulous. The winners have been posted on the blog. This challenge is just for fun and the theme is a sketch which you will find at the bottom.
We would love you to use a Kraftyhands product somewhere on your project, but it's not necessary. We do ask though that you follow the challenge blog.
This is one of the Mother's Day cards I made for the UK's Mothering Sunday last week. I used the wonderful  Femme Fatale CD which proved to be very popular for the occasion.

All the papers are from the CD and matted onto pink card. I cut a fish tail from lace and pink ribbon. The only addition to the sketch I have made is the sentiment which I created with some MCS wizardry.

I used a Joy! doily die and a circle die to cut the image from one of the gorgeously feminine toppers on the CD.

This is the sketch to follow. It's a fabulous layout and I will be using it again.

Please visit the  Kraftyhands Challenge Blog for a full set of the challenge rules and to view the fabulous creations from the talented DT. Remember to be a follower to qualify for entry. You can also keep up to date with all the latest Kraftyhands news and see sneak peeks on the Kraftyhands Blog.

Feeling Crafty Challenge #27

Welcome to challenge # 27 at Feeling Crafty and thank you to everyone who entered the previous challenge. The entries were fabulous and the winners are announced on the Feeling Crafty Challenge blog.
This month the theme is:
"Anything For A Child"
and is being sponsored by the lovely Kate Martin who has some Stampin' Up goodies for the winner. Photos at the bottom.

I have made a fold out card for a little boy using the Pirate Island Double CD from Kraftyhands. There are lots of fabulous images and papers on the CD for both boys and girls.

I used the Ahoy There die cut set from Docrafts to create the pirate ship and for some of the other elements.

I created pirate treasure maps and pictures to tuck into the envelopes.

Kate's prize for the lucky winner.

Please visit the Feeling Crafty Challenge blog to see the fabulous creations from the other talented DT members. Don't forget to sign up to follow the challenge blog so you can enter your crafty makes.
