Today sees the start of the July challenge at Kraftyhands. Thank you to all of you who joined in with the June challenge, the entries were gorgeous and the winners have been posted on the blog. This challenge is just for fun and the theme this month is:
"Summer Holidays"We would love it if you used a Kraftyhands product somewhere on your project, but it's not necessary. We do ask though that you follow the challenge blog.
I have used The Potting Shed mini CD for my DT card. Not everyone is lucky enough to go away on a summer holiday so, for those who enjoy a 'staycation', what better pastime than pottering in the garden?
This is a brilliant CD to use for anyone who is a keen gardener. There are fabulous images for both male and female gardeners either as plain toppers or decoupage plus a whole host of gorgeous papers and even matching inserts. And all for the bargain of £8.50.
I have used two papers and a mixture of different elements from the Card Making Sets on this card. I matted the papers and the beautiful arch image onto green card and loosely cut round the other elements.
I decoupaged the lady and mounted the other pieces onto the card with foam pads for dimension.
To finish the card I added some red flowers from my stash and a few die-cut leaf flourishes by Cheery Lynn.
Please visit the Kraftyhands Challenge Blog for a full set of the challenge rules and to view the fabulous "Summer Holiday" creations from the talented DT.
